This book, BRUCHKO, by Bruce Olson, was shared with me by a Mennonite friend of mine, Ernie Zimmerman. I read this book, cover to cover, and found the story of someone who felt like a brother. Someone who shared a real relationship with Jesus, not just a "Sunday go to meeting" relationship. In short, I felt a lot like I was coming home as I read it.
BRUCHKO is the detailed account of what can happen if you can be courageous enough to walk away from tradition and towards Jesus and his calling for you. It reveals what happens when you give your all to the Lord, not even withholding your own life.
